Hello, my name is Moises Segovia, and I’m a proud husband and father of four incredible children. Raised in the Rio Grande Valley, I’ve always had a deep desire to make a positive impact on my community. From a young age, my career aspirations have centered around professions and services that would allow me to help and uplift those around me.
One of my proudest achievements, alongside building my family, is founding my own EMS company at the age of 24. I dedicated countless hours of hard work, which eventually allowed me to become a well-known and respected figure in my community.
By 2019, I had successfully launched two EMS businesses, with one being sold in 2017. My companies have provided essential ambulance services to the citizens of Edinburg and the entire Rio Grande Valley, while also creating much-needed job opportunities in the region.
Throughout my journey as a business owner, I made a personal commitment to continuous growth and self-improvement. I participated in Leadership Class 31, a nine-month program designed to hone and strengthen leadership abilities. This experience deepened my proficiency in leadership, politics, education, and the overall well-being of the people I serve. The skills I gained from the program proved invaluable, particularly during challenging times.
When the pandemic hit, the pressure on first responders and healthcare systems skyrocketed. As a leader, I ensured that my team, patients, and the community were well-prepared to navigate the uncertainty with calm and efficiency. The lessons I learned through the Leadership Class allowed me to step up, lead effectively, and support those around me during an unprecedented crisis.
I have served as an ambassador for the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce. In 2020 I was honored to be recognized as Ambassador of the Year.
It is at this time that I would like to humbly ask for your support in running for Edinburg City Council Place 2. I feel that I am the perfect candidate, because I always have the best interest of everyone in mind. Not to mention, my strong leadership skills have proven to be exemplary as I have
led many employees as well as community members successfully and efficiently over the years.
Congratulations to the ENHS Cougar Band for making it to the area finals. I wish you all good luck and enjoy this journey 🙏🏽

As I begin to settle down for the evening, I feel a sense of accomplishment. Over the past few days I have seen many people take to the polls and exercise their right to vote. Seeing voters in action helps to remind me of what a great country we live in, where everyone has a voice.

In today's uncertain times, it is crucial to be a leader that is not afraid of change. In my life and career I have always been a leader that does not fear change, but rather embraces it.
